This is one of about 20 figurines I purchsed at an auction .I know nothing about pottery and figurines but, from the research I have done, I believe this to be from Ceramic Arts Studio. So I would estimate this item was made between 1940 and the early 1950's. This figurine has the initials, "BH" on the bottom. I think this is for the artist, Betty Harrington. I have seen similar figurines listed online as "Pioneer Lady". I think she is supposed to have a broom in her hand but no broom is present. I don't know how grade these items, so please take a look at the pics and judge for yourself. I will be glad to answer any questions to the best of my ability and / or take more pics if you'd like.
